The video „Beholding Ephemerality“ alternates between 2D and 3D, with images of brightly coloured and shiny objects, frozen sculptures and transparent fabrics, all transitioned though sensual scenes. The same sense of instability and continuous metamorphosis that distances the Baroque individual from the idea of durability transmitted by classical artworks brings them at the same time closer to the contemporary subject. Metamorphosis has a primary thematic prominence, but it is also a category of Baroque anthropology that justifies the taste for mixing and evolving artistic genres.
